毛绍名，副教授，微生物学博士，硕士生导师。2010年毕业于中国科学院微生物研究所微生物学专业获理学博士学位，之后到中南林业科技大学生命科学与技术学院工作。近年来主持了主持2项国家自然科学基金（项目号：31140014和31200074），主持1项湖南省自然科学基金（项目号：12JJ4030），主持1项校青年基金重点项目（项目号：QJ2011003A），主持1项校引进人才基金（项目号：104-1068），主持1项稻谷及副产物深加工国家工程实验室开放课题。2012年被列为湖南省普通高校青年骨干教师培养对象。参与了国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）No. 2007CB707803：“生物炼制细胞工厂的科学基础” 项目的子课题“乳酸和丁醇生产菌的基因组规模突变研究”；国家自然科学基金“基于分泌转录因子工程和亚细胞蛋白质组学的毕赤酵母分泌途径改造”（No. 31000026）；国家高技术研究发展计划（863计划）No. 2006AA02Z237：：“丁醇生物制造的关键技术”等项目。主要从事工业微生物技术及蛋白质组技术研究。
